What is it for? What am I going to achieve with this product?

Polyhydroxy acids or PHAs, and Lactobionic Acid in particular, are the latest generation of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs). They provide anti-aging effects and soften the skin, but are less irritating . That is why they can be used on sensitive skin that does not tolerate AHAs. This peel offers less intensity than Glycopeeling (AHAs) and Salialan (Salicylic Acid), separately or combined, but has different benefits for the epidermis:

• Provides greater hydration.
• It is a powerful antioxidant.
• Minimal skin irritation.
• It can be used throughout the year and in several sessions.

Complete the treatment with a moisturizing cream with microencapsulated folic acid, which increases and accelerates the repair of DNA damage after UV exposure.

How can I offer it to my clients? Sales tips

The daily use of hydroxy acids provides multiple benefits for the skin through its exfoliating, moisturizing, comedolytic effects and the preservation of the skin barrier function. Lactobionic acid has a greater antioxidant effect and greater moisturizing action, since it has a greater capacity to retain, absorb and strongly fix water. Its safety profile, since it is not irritating, comedogenic or photosensitizing, together with the preservation of the barrier function, allows its use on all skin types .

Mature skin with psoriasis, rosacea and dermatitis needs to be renewed and softened. Polyhydroxy acids provide an anti-aging action that improves the skin from the first session of this therapy, and most importantly, it is indicated for sensitive skin due to its low irritation. Not treating these types of conditions can lead to more serious dermatological problems , which is why it is so important to take care of the health of the skin and help it maintain its hydration levels, promote cell regeneration and collagen production.

Protocol for use in the cabin. Do I need any additional products to complete the treatment?

We will follow the following steps for its application in our beauty salon:

• Start by completely cleansing your face. We can opt for gel or milk cleanser.
• Afterwards, we apply the L'Arcou toner for sensitive skin until it is absorbed.
• Next, we apply the Peeling PHAs ampoule using a brush, avoiding contact with the labial and ocular mucous membranes. Leave to rest for 15 minutes and remove with water at room temperature.
• Afterwards, we finish with the application by gently massaging the moisturizing cream with microencapsulated folic acid.

The product for cleaning and preparing the skin or sun protection is not included in the treatment box.

What do I recommend my client take home after treatment?

We recommend that to maintain the effectiveness of the results and extend them over time, the client has the Moisturizing Serum and the Nourishing Serum from the PHAs line in their facial ritual.

What treatment can I do before or after this?

PHAs peeling can be combined with all our protocols. We can complement this peeling with other treatments such as Glycopeeling and Salialán, especially during times of the year when its use is more difficult, or when the maximum number of recommended sessions have been completed.

The “Peeling PHA's” treatment box contains 12 single-dose 2.5 cc ampoules and a 50 cc airless cream.
