What is Matriskin Collagen M/P Serum?

Collagen Sérum, is a hydrolyzed marine collagen serum (90%) and hyaluronic acid (2%). Extremely rich and pure formula that repairs the dermal matrix, stimulates the growth of fibroblasts and increases the synthesis of collagen I and IV. It acts as a lifting, working the tissue on three levels: reaffirms, moisturizes and smoothes wrinkles.

Ideal for skin damaged by the sun, the beginning of wrinkles and sagging, acne marks, skin after surgical treatment or deep peeling, etc.

What is it for?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in mammals (25% of total protein). 19 different forms of collagen have been identified, the most abundant being Type I collagen. Collagen is a fundamental element of the extracellular matrix along with other substances such as hyaluronic acid, elastin, proteoglycans, etc. It is in charge of supporting the body's tissues, having a relevant role in the aging process.

From the age of 25, the body begins to reduce collagen production, reducing production metabolism and also begins to degrade existing collagen. The skin begins to thin and the wrinkles become visible, it changes to a more yellowish color and sometimes presents pigmentary lesions.

Its formula has been made with:

• Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen (90%), promotes cell regeneration, the synthesis of the extracellular matrix and contributes to the replacement of damaged tissue, increasing the firmness, smoothness and elasticity of the skin.
• Hyaluronic Acid (2%), of plant origin and high molecular weight, forms a non-occlusive film that protects the skin, maintains hydration and prevents TWEL, promotes the synthesis of new collagen and GAGs (glycosaminoglycans), provides an immediate lifting effect , smoothes and tones the dermis in the long term.
• Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, an amphiphilic compound formed by amino acids from a fragment of type I collagen that favor its own synthesis and significantly reduce superficial and deeper wrinkles. Clinical studies have made clear the superiority of its results against retinol and vitamin C as anti-wrinkles, as well as its action on the synthesis of hyaluronic acid and glycosaminoglycans (GAG).

Who can use it?

How should I apply it?

The application protocol would be:

In the mornings and at night:

1. With a clean and dry face.
2. Apply 1/2 pipette of Matriskin Collagen Serum massaging well all over the face, including the eye contour, neck and décolletage until completely absorbed.
3. After the serum we would apply the day or night cream.
4. In the mornings we should always apply sunscreen appropriate to our phototype and solar radiation.

Note: It can be perfectly complemented with the Vitamin C serum and with the Hyaluronic Acid serum . In other words, in dehydrated skin we would apply Hyaluronic Acid serum first and then Collagen serum and in skin with a lack of luminosity, we would apply Vitamin C serum first and then Collagen Serum.
