How should it be applied?

Habit 1: "I don't remove my makeup, because I don't wear makeup"

Even without putting on make-up, the toxins that you spontaneously eliminate and external polluting agents are deposited on your skin throughout the day, forming an invisible layer. Your skin can't breathe.

Consuelo insists that “we will not maintain healthy and luminous skin over time if we are not able to dedicate just 5 minutes each night to rid it of that accumulation of undesirable particles that suffocate it and prevent its vital oxygenation before going to sleep. In addition, the action of the products that you apply later will not reach our skin.

Habit 2: "With makeup remover wipes"

It is a very comfortable solution... but only suitable for occasional emergency situations: an urgent trip in which you have forgotten your cosmetics, etc. "It is incomplete hygiene, sometimes irritating and deposits undesirable agents on the skin surface," Consuelo concludes.

Habit 3: "With make-up remover milk, which I remove with a cotton pad soaked in toner"

According to the expert, the correct way to proceed is as follows: “Use a generous amount of milk, cream or make-up remover oil. Distribute it over the face, neck and décolleté with rapid, circular movements. Then remove the remaining product with tissue paper. Next, completely impregnate two cotton discs with tonic lotion and, with gentle friction, remove any possible traces of the cleaning product. With this gesture, we are at the same time balancing the skin's pH.

Habit 4: "With a gel and water"

The question is: what kind of gel? What kind of water? “Not all cleansing gels have the power to remove makeup or rid the skin of oily debris. You should consult the indications of its formula” –warns Consuelo–. “On the other hand, certain waters are excessively alkaline. If this is your case, you should rinse the skin with mineral or distilled water to emulsify and remove the gel.”

Regarding the cleansing gels, he points out: “They are better suited to oily skin, but it is an ideal complement in the correct cleaning of all skin types, bearing in mind that, in normal to dry skin, it should always be used after using cleansing milks, creams or oils.”

And the tonic lotion can not be missing to finish "properly distributed on two cotton discs."

Regarding lotions or micellar gels, “they give results in cleaning and removing make-up from skin intolerant to contact with water; They are an excellent solution in cases of excessive sensitivity, rosacea, dermatitis, etc.”

Habit 5: "With soap and water, because I have very oily skin"
