What is it for? What am I going to achieve with this product?

Professional cabin treatment composed of alpha-hydroxy acids and alpha-keto acids found in fruits and natural foods such as apples, sugar cane, milk, grapes, citrus, among others. It has several effects and benefits on the epidermis:

• It reduces the thickness of the stratum corneum by softening the cementing substance that holds the corneocytes of the epidermis together.
• Increases the production of collagen and elastin at the level of dermal fibroblasts. Thus, the epithelium appears much younger and the signs of aging and wrinkles are attenuated.
• Stimulates epithelial renewal and the division of keratinoblasts in the germ layers.

What type of client is it for?

Its use is recommended for the treatment of:

• Facial rejuvenation, treatment of skin involution that makes small wrinkles disappear.
• Significant improvement of inflammatory or comedonic acne.
• Treatment of different superficial pigmentation alterations, such as ephelides, gravidarum or non-pregnant melasma, lentigines, etc.
• Improves the appearance of scars and keloids.
• Fights skin dryness and hyperkeratosis.

How can I offer it to my clients? Sales tips

There is scientific evidence that chemical peels have various therapeutic effects on the skin. It is one of the most used procedures in Aesthetic Medicine and dermatology for restorative purposes . The skin exfoliation caused by the application of glycolic acid produces a skin regeneration effect that entails a renewal of the dermal matrix. The key is to advise the client about this treatment to improve the appearance of wrinkles, how important it is to treat acne and its imperfections and inflammations, spots and scars.

Protocol for use in the cabin. Do I need any additional products to complete the treatment?

Instructions for use in the cabin:

1. Cleanse and tone the skin with alcohol-free L'Arcou Cleansing Milk and Tonic, leaving the skin prepared for the application of the peel.
2. Cover the client's eye area throughout the procedure.
3. Application of Glicopeeling Nº1, about 2 ml. (depending on the extent of the area) using a fan brush, following these steps:
4. - Spread evenly and gently.
5. - Do not massage or apply pressure on the area.
6. - Do not add to the labial mucosa.
7. - The upper and lower eyelids for the end of the application.
8. Leave it on the area for about 5 minutes during the first application. We can also increase the exposure time progressively in the following applications up to a maximum of 15 minutes. Some burning sensation will be normal.
9. We rinse well with plenty of water.
10. Glycopeeling Nº2, 2 ml. (depending on the area to be treated) using a fan brush without massaging or pressing. Always let it act for 5 minutes.
11. Rinse the entire face with plenty of water.
12. Finally, depending on the skin type, we apply the Aminoacids Cream or the Special Regenerating Milk with a light massage.

If after facial therapy the burning and irritation are very persistent, we recommend applying the Special Regenerating Milk as a mask for about 15-20 minutes . After the session, there may be a brief burning and redness sensation that disappears in a short time. It is very important that we inform the client in advance.

The treatment box only contains the two bottles for applying the peel. To complete the treatment we have to add the product to prepare the skin (Cleansing Milk and Tonic) and the final regenerating cream (Special Regenerating Milk or Aminoacids cream).

What do I recommend my client take home after treatment?

We must personalize the product prescription for home based on the client and the objective of performing the peeling. As an example: - For anti-aging treatments we will recommend the Science Line with Vitamin C.

• For acne skin treatments we will recommend the L'Arcou tonic for oily skin, the Alan Mans gel and the special regenerating milk.
• For depigmentation treatments, we will recommend Alan Pekas toner and Melalán cream.
• For hydrating treatments, we will recommend the Hyaluronic Activ line.

What treatment can I do before or after this?

This peeling treatment can also be combined with Salialán, salicylic acid as a keratolytic agent. We will leave between 7 and 15 days between each other. It will enhance the results. Likewise, if after facial therapy the burning and irritation are very persistent, we recommend applying the Special Regenerating Milk as a mask for about 20 minutes.

Warnings for professional use. What can't I do? What not to combine it with.

In cases of hypersensitivity to hydroxy acids and there is an irritative or inflammatory condition in the treatment area, even if it is unrelated to alpha-hydroxy acids. Also, we recommend doing an open patch test as follows: Apply an amount of Glycopeeling No. 1 to the inside of the arm, on a surface measuring 2 x 2 cm, and wait 6 minutes. We will check if there are any signs of allergies. Avoid doing sports for two hours after treatment.
